Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes! Gift vouchers are available for all of our treatments or packages, or as a dollar value. Please treat gift vouchers like cash, as lost vouchers cannot be replaced. Our vouchers are valid for 6 months.

How long should I let my hair grow to get the best results for waxing?
For best results, hair should be 0.5cm to 1cm long. Waxing hair longer than 2cm can be more uncomfortable and cause hair breakage, so we suggest trimming before you visit.

How often should I wax?
Everyone's hair growth is different but we recommend you visit us every 4-6 weeks to maintain smooth skin.

What causes ingrown hairs after waxing?
A build-up of excess dead skin cells blocking the follicle opening can lead to ingrown hairs. These are often unsightly and uncomfortable, but usually of no consequence. Please talk to your therapist if this is a concern, as we have products available to help avoid this.

What should I avoid after waxing?
It is advisable that for at least 24 hours post-waxing, the following should be avoided:
  • hot showers
  • swimming in highly chlorinated pools or spa pools
  • sunbathing or excessive exposure of waxed areas to UV light
  • excessive exercise where one might sweat
  • applying fake tan or highly fragranced products
  • touching the area with fingertips (as they harbour bacteria)

I have problematic skin. Can you help me?
As qualified professionals we recommend you visit us for a complimentary skin consultation. Bookings are required. Your therapist can then recommend a treatment plan for you. The best format to follow is often a series of tailor-made facial treatments to suit the needs of your skin.

I am getting married soon, help!
Congratulations. We have many treatment options to help you look radiant on your big day. Ask your therapist to design a programme just for you, or get your bridal party together for a pampering session.

Can I wear makeup straight after my facial?
While it is more beneficial to leave the skin clear and fresh after a facial, there are no known adverse effects from applying makeup straight after a facial.

How should I prepare my skin for a Spray Tan?
Prior to having a spray tan please shower and for optimum results, exfoliate the skin using either a loofah mitt or exfoliation cream to remove dead skin cells. Please do not apply any deodorant or body moisturisers to the skin. We also suggest you bring/wear loose fitting clothing to the appointment.  Alternatively, we also offer the option of a full body exfoliation and tan from our treatment menu.

What time should I arrive for my appointment?
We suggest you arrive 5 mins before your appointment so you will have time to unwind. If it is your first visit with us, please allow around 10 mins to complete your consultation form.

What happens if I am running late for my appointment?
Appointments are scheduled based on adequate time to complete each service or treatment. If you are late, your appointment will still end on time so that our next client is not delayed.
